The role:

The successful candidate will report to the Creative Lab Team Lead,

under the direction of the Director, Marketing & Communications. Our

Creative Lab works as part of our broader Marketing department. This is

a fast-paced role as part of a fun, super-talented team. The Creative

Lab produces extensive marketing work for PressReader, and also works on

a huge number of co-brand projects with major airlines, hotel chains,

cruise lines and more.



We refreshed our brand in 2016, and we’re looking for a sharp,

digitally-savvy designer with great experience and a keen sense of

current design trends.



Who you are:

A highly skilled graphic designer with excellent experience and a passion for art and design.

The must haves:

Passion for design

Advanced experience with print design

Good experience with web design

Familiarity with front-end design, basic UX, HTML/CSS

Total fluency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver [basic])

Excellent organizational skills: strong time management and file management

Accuracy and attention to detail

Strong visual sensibility

Deadline-oriented and able to handle a fast-paced environment

Ability to take feedback with a positive attitude and make edits quickly

Ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines easily

Fluent written and spoken English communication skills

Experience working as part of a team

Formal design education

Experience working under a set of brand guidelines



Nice to have:

Experience working with Mailchimp and/or Unbounce

Excellent typography and color theory skills
